Who we are

Contractor of Record was founded by Aleksandra Popova — an ex-KPMG audit senior consultant with eight years in IFRS financial reporting. She defines the comparison methodology and reviews every page before it ships. You can also find her on LinkedIn.

A small research team supports data collection: monitoring vendor pricing and feature changes, gathering user sentiment from third-party review platforms, and maintaining country guides. Every page they touch is reviewed by Aleksandra before publication.

How we make money

We sell a limited number of paid placements to platforms in the categories we cover, and that revenue funds the research on this site. Paid placement is marked as such wherever it appears, and it is the only thing we sell.

What money cannot buy: the editorial score, the ranking in our comparison tables, what we write about a platform's limitations, or the removal of a factual finding. Correcting a genuine error is always free. If we ever add affiliate links, we'll say so here. See work with us for the commercial side.
