I spent eight years at KPMG as an audit senior consultant, working with IFRS and local GAAP reporting. Most of that time went into verifying how companies actually handle money — payroll runs, vendor settlements, cross-border payments — and where those processes quietly break.
In 2025, while on maternity leave, a founder friend running a Cyprus-based company asked me to research one question: what's the sane way to pay a distributed team of contractors across four countries? The answer took three weeks to assemble, because vendor websites are marketing and independent comparisons didn't exist.
Contractor of Record is that research, kept alive and public. I define the comparison methodology, review every vendor profile before it ships, and re-check pricing and features when vendors change them. A small research team helps me with data collection; every page is reviewed by me before publication.
