This site, contractor-of-record.com ("we"), publishes independent reviews and comparisons of EOR, Contractor of Record and contractor payment platforms. We collect as little data as a website realistically can. Questions: [email protected].

What we collect

• Analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (loaded via Google Tag Manager) to understand which pages are read and how visitors find us: pages viewed, referrer, approximate location (country/city level), device and browser type. IP addresses are not stored by GA4.
• Server logs. Our hosting and CDN (Cloudflare) keep standard technical logs (IP address, requested URL, user agent) for security and operations. These are retained briefly and not used for profiling.
• Email. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence. We have no accounts, forms, newsletters or payments on this site.

Cookies

Google Analytics uses measurement cookies (_ga, _ga_* — lifetime up to 13 months). For visitors in the EEA, UK and other European locations (detected by your browser's timezone), no analytics cookies are set until you accept in the consent banner; if you decline, they are never set. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage (cookie-consent) and stays on your device. Elsewhere, analytics runs by default on the legal bases described below.

We use Google's Consent Mode v2, and advertising signals (ad storage, ad personalization) are disabled for everyone — we run no ads. European visitors can change their choice by clearing this site's data in their browser; the banner will reappear.

Legal bases and your rights

For visitors in the EEA/UK: analytics runs on consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); security logging on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). You may request access, correction or deletion of personal data, withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. California residents have equivalent rights under the CCPA/CPRA; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined there.

Third parties

• Google (Tag Manager, Analytics) — privacy policy; data may be processed on servers outside your country under Google's standard safeguards.
• Cloudflare (CDN/security) — privacy policy.
• External links: provider websites we review are their own controllers; this policy covers only contractor-of-record.com.

Changes

We'll update this page when our data practices change and adjust the date above. Material changes (new tracking, new processors) reset the consent banner.
